On Wednesday, October 11th, Smoky Hill, LLC of Salina will begin repairing the intersection of Ohio and Magnolia.
The intersection will receive extensive repairs over the next couple of months, the first phase of which is repairing the inside lanes. Speed limits in all directions will be reduced to 20 mph, and the signals will slow traffic due to approach lanes having to share turning and through traffic. Motorists should expect significant delays and avoid the intersection if possible.
The work is part of a $510,000 project, which is part of the City of Salina's $4.7 million 2023 street maintenance capital improvement program.
